By renting a vehicle from RESTAR GROUP TRADING or using our mobile app, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility
Renters must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving licence. Foreign nationals must present a valid passport and international driving permit or home country licence. Restar Group Trading reserves the right to decline any rental request at its discretion.
2. Booking & Confirmation
Booking requests submitted via the app are subject to review and confirmation by our team. A booking is only confirmed once you receive direct confirmation from RESTAR GROUP TRADING via WhatsApp or email. Estimated prices shown in the app are indicative and subject to final confirmation.
3. Payment
Full payment or an agreed deposit is required at vehicle pickup. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. For monthly rentals, payment terms will be agreed upon at the time of confirmation. Restart Car Rental reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed bookings where payment has not been arranged.
4. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required at pickup. The deposit amount depends on the vehicle category and rental duration. The deposit will be refunded upon vehicle return, subject to inspection and deduction for any damage, fines, or outstanding charges.
5. Vehicle Use
Vehicles must be used only within Peninsular Malaysia unless prior written approval is obtained. Vehicles must not be used for: subletting or commercial hire, racing or off-road driving, transporting illegal goods, or any activity that violates Malaysian law. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
6. Damage & Accidents
The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, regardless of fault. Any accident, damage, or theft must be reported to Restar Group Trading immediately and a police report filed within 24 hours. Failure to report may result in full liability for repair costs.
7. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a set fuel level at pickup. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level. Failure to do so will result in a fuel surcharge.
8. Late Returns
Returns beyond the agreed return time will incur additional daily or hourly charges. Please notify Restar Group trading as soon as possible if you anticipate a late return.
9. Cancellation Policy
Booking requests that have not yet been confirmed may be cancelled via the app. Once a booking is confirmed and the vehicle has been collected, cancellations are not accepted. Early returns do not entitle the renter to a refund of unused rental days.
10. App Usage
The Restar Group Trading app is provided for booking and account management purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Restart Car Rental is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from your failure to protect your login details.

11. Limitation of Liability
Restar Group Trading not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property arising from the use of our vehicles beyond what is required by Malaysian law. The renter assumes full responsibility for the vehicle and its use during the rental period.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
